My Days in Beautiful Bangalore

*The first part of the summer vacation was spent in Bangalore at my sisters house.

*Bangalore is where i studied and spent 7 good years of my life,before marriage and after *marriage

*Its where my dreams came true:)-

*I can never forget Bangalore for the charms and vibes the city gave......

*The cubbon park,commercial,shivaji nagar where i took umpteen buses,hebbal,koramangala and yelahanka where we stayed,the weather and for all that Bangalore has given me

*Roaming in commercial and juices from ganesh fruit juice centre and thalis and filter coffees from kamath are unforgettable.

*Can never forget the joys and sorrows that Bangalore gave me

*Even if we dont stay in that city now ,a visit to the city just refreshes us even today.

*As always the day starts with a chai and the innumerable shadows that i followed in the house and the Bangalore times and the flowers on the table that spread a cheer in the house

Haridwar-Gateway to Gods

Before the start of summer vacations,we decided to have a quick visit to the hills(Upper Dehradun),enroute Haridwar.

HAridwar a photographers delight...

Haridwar always is a fascination for a photographer and it is the same way with me too.

It was as though i felt the presence of gods there in each frame I saw.

We just had a quick walk along the main bathing ghat,Har ki Pauri .

There were prayers to be offered at the holy Ghat of Hari-ki-Pauri (Steps to God/Heaven - now we know why its 'holy')and a must-have dip for the kids.

There were a number of people at the ghats having a holy dip and my little also had to have a dip.

Frames from a train journey in Kerala....

*Train journeys are an indispensible part in our life.

*It might be too difficult to point out anyone hwo hasn't travelled in trains among us???

*Train journeys with parents might be the first hand experience for us and for me and for so many of us..

*Just imagine when the parents turn grandparents,it would be wonderful to watch them together gel with their grandchildren and in turn i went back to the times,of a father and daughter.

*They were playing ,reading and also posed readily when requested.

*These frames are to be framed and kept,thts been decided when i clicked

*The shadows deep convey a lot of emotions and love

and did the tears from my eyes make the camera wet??

I'm Back !

Its almost a month since i posted and I'm back home in Delhi and its raining ,Oh Ghosh!

I left the monsoons in Kerala to meet them here,as always monsoons follow me where I am:)- I am lucky..

The sweltering heat in Delhi has come down and the rains have brought its charm to the city.As i unpack the bags and settle back,thought would say hi to all of you.I missed being here and missed everyone very much.

Let me tell you all as all vacations,these also had been wonderful with a canon wide angle,10-20 mm,brought recently before the trip, lots of photographs taken, parents around and pampering and homely food,some memorable train journeys and trips to our villages at alleppey and kochi, back waters,temples and a lot more.

The highlight of the trip was a brief stop over in blore and then proceeded to Kerala.In bangalore ,we were there for a few days and what we did was to go around commercial,fab india koramangala and a wonderful trip to seebi,Narasimhaswamy temple.

As usual,the essence of the trips are captured in a different way which will come in the following posts.
