The New year, beckoned new hopes and tones for the year ahead;

Vishu as a whole is a package of dream rituals for any one....

*The Yellow golden" Vishu Flower,Amaltas"

*Momentous and resplendent ritual of seeing the offerings along with the Lord ,called "Vishu kani'

*The "Vishu Kaineetam",offering of money from elders to the younger ones

*Strings of nostalgic memories...,childhood especially

*Memories just drip in from the time I take my urulis for polishing and then it continues for some days even after vishu is over and long forgotten

*Memories as fresh as ever...lingering in the minds for ever...

*The Happy "Vishu Sadya"

*Bursting of "Vishu crackers"

Surely the melody of Vishu has still not lost its charm

Happy Holi !

*Holi,a festival of colours.Not much celebrated at our home

*But we bought colours this time for Photoshoots.Colours and flowers ,a gorgeous combination at home,the whole frames and the moods lifted us to a new level.Salabanjhika-"torch bearers" at my home,had hands full of colours and flowers,flowers and colours had an amazing fragrance...colours which fell on the news paper,looked like a star sprankled night sky.we simply gazed at the colours and flowers

*It was all of a sudden , my little one started sprinkling colours on her and on all of us,then it was a play of colours at home,captured some colourful moments

*amazing images of the celebrations of our life to yours

The Day Onam came visiting home.....

Another Onam has just passed by..Onam opens a chest full of memories....

Onam arrived at our home in its own pomp and splendour.It brought lots of happiness and festivities along with it.A day together, cherished forever.A flower carpet laid out in yellows and reds..The marigold gave a golden hue and the fragrance of the flowers filled the air.My little one hurriedly came back from school to help me.She had to do some rearranging with the already laid out flower carpet.Asked me to click her feet and the flowers.Posed with the flowers and asked me to take a hundred images of her.It was fun at the same time tiring to cook a 7 course meal for some of our friends who came over to have lunch.I sneaked time after cooking to think about some compositions hurriedly and clicked some snaps.In the centre of the flower carpet are the images of gods kept.Everything was laid out on the banana leaf ,the order obeyed when served and given to God first and then to all othersThe kheer came out fantabously..But inspite of all,Moments were full of memories celebrated together at homeMoments attached in strings make me miss Onam at home
