There are moments in life when you miss them
so much that you just want to pick them from
your dreams and hug them for real!(quote)

So pick your moments and hug them!

it rained in Fort Kochi...

Every year at Fort Kochi, the monsoon season
I loved the rains of Fort kind of rain..
sometimes it just rained on and on...without a stop
it drizzled too
i sat here,looking down..
the many mornings that i enjoyed...
and those walk along those narrow lanes
The rainy blues and the rains of kochi that haunts me in my sleep, the rain that makes me dream.
The chai on the wet window sill, the chai and plumerias on the walks,i saw the moments that swelled before the rains and their after moments..the coral  vines  and the wet walls

a Wistful Desire

I still have not got over completely the fact that i am miles away from the southern most tip of India, away from the monsoons.A wistful desire to return back in thoughts..
Thoughts always binds me to the land where belong to.Steamed up memories or tied up memories.
I remember reading this that "Memories and emotions are all tied up. The more strongly you feel about a situation influences how you remember it" .Keep the wonderful memories and keep moving on..

The richness of life lies in the memories that we have forgotten..Cesare Pavese

The monsoons that followed me .....

A drizzle and then a heavy down pour for minutes as i sat to write this..That's me and monsoons!
The Monsoons never lost their way this time..and no wind could change its direction this time.It rained and rained and rained, till our heart and minds were soothing was the nonstop rain and the nonstop rain songs in FM.

I always stepped out with my umbrella ..and in between a little prayer goes out to the people where severe erosion and floods happened!

how wonderful was it if we could travel back in time...childhood memories

dipping in nostalgia

the grace of the violets

always with an umbrella

a come back,and a summer breeze

A Come back to the space here,it seems like along time..
it was an eventful spring and now a laid back summer time
Good times and Great Oldies at home down south
A  come back is like a beautiful summer time, laid back, to recline
or Is it a Summer Breeze?

"Cause you can feel it in the summer breeze
It's something in the trees
Some kind of long lost feeling
Sometimes it feels like there's something wrong
Something that we're doing
Or not doing, like we're far gone
Another way that maybe we forgot
But maybe we still need
And what am I not remembering
Cause I can feel it in the summer breeze
And it keeps calling me, it keeps calling me"(from Summer Breeze)

This was what the spring was for us:)-

the bauhinia tree flowered..we could see it from our balcony,it fell on to our terrace
