the New Year,the New light!

Sometimes u feel like talking and sometimes you feel like writing.Hope 2015 is keeping you all safe in its arms.

The last month of 2014 had taken us for a roller coaster ride with about of winter flu ,cough and cold and sinusitis and vertigo taking the major share :)-The moments were enjoyed nevertheless,by putting the christmas tree was up and the ornaments for the Santaclaus to make his way into our home:)-

Delhi in the winters  is a muse for poetry and metaphor for romance.As on ode to the long awaited first winter rains there were  Kale flowers to go with it.In the midst of all this there were new dreams,new hopes,new home and new light. I saw the gradual transition from dissipated light to more direct rays and patterns of the sun  inside the homes.The sun kissed mosaics now  give my images life more than anything i would love.

a come back,and a summer breeze

 A Come back to the space here,it seems like along time..
it was an eventful spring and now a laid back summer time
Good times and Great Oldies at home down south
A  come back is like a beautiful summer time,laid back, to recline
or Is it a Summer Breeze?

Hello ....

Sorry to be missing out from here for long.Summer vacations at home down south,long pending visits to the temples,bonding with family ,the long drives to the beaches,the plains ,the hills,the tea gardens  in search of monsoons and so miuch more..

We had a wonderful time at home,and there are many posts to be written and  wonderful stories to be unfolded and photographs to be shared..

As I sit to write,its raining here.. from the monsoons to the monsoons in Delhi..

One afternoon

One afternoon,in the month of may.
whats blooming across the bedroom window?
they bloomed,and they are blooming all over like crazy
falling down the streets,washed with a golden yellow
flying all over and floating in the thali ...

As i sit miles away in my home down south..i miss them

i wait for the june showers ,to bring down the flowers along with it

still i hear a rumble in the sky and then this time I shall read aloud the" Flower School" for my daughter.

life is all about nostalgia isnt it..?

Summers,Fragrant

In the beautiful month of May..as I see they bloomed,the Gulmohars,the magical Gulmohars...I look out of my windows,and i see them out in the park,the streets in Delhi explode with these beautiful trees and it softens my heart and i remember the peak of summer vacations,the times when we stuck the yellow calyx on our fingers and pretended to be ones with beautiful nails,the times we waited with bated breath for the wind to blow and the mangoes to fall ,the looming powercuts and the beautiful hand fans,and the fragrant champas and so many more...so lovely are the summer moments..

Appreciation

Sincerely Nowadays its lack of time,its not that i do not take photos,but blogging ..time constraint.With two little ones,hope people like me exist.And if i do get time to,i get immersed in my photo folders,trying to select the best shots and sit hours reading other blogs,reading some poetry,some phrases,some quotes,in search of the best title and sometimes,it really gets to me so much at times..While trying to write  i do get interrupted many times,it all a way of life..the offline life..

As we walked through the streets in Delhi ,the numerous shots we took,the beauty we imbibed,the spring we saw.In appreciation of the beauty around us.

The weather is chill these days and we have been enjoying it in the comfort of the home.The morning teas ,the rajais and warm sun in the terrace and the subtle light that descends into the living room.Even in the chillness,I open the balcony to invite the light in.I usually go on a late morning walk and bring back the blue flowers.The blues that filled the urulis and the evening glow in the balcony and the chillness is on its way back..

I love the fog,

so quiet and peaceful:
